Being an officiant means being included in one of the most joyful times of a couples’ lives. The officiant stands closely with the couple - literally and figuratively - and holds a loving, supportive and sacred space for them. It is a gift and a privilege for me to fill that role.
Since each couple is sharing their special time with me, I likewise share my time to get to know them through an initial consultation. Once the couple decides that I am the officiant for them, we continue to consult through emails and phone calls till their ceremony is “just right”. We are connected in this grand endeavor called commitment.
Thank you for trusting me.

Your ceremony is the most significant part of this momentous day. It expresses the essence of your love. A heartfelt and inspiring ceremony will be forever remembered by you and your guests. To fit your needs, several options are available.

A service for couples wanting an intimate ceremony - just the two of you or a few guests - in a casual setting. This service includes a delightful ceremony, a keepsake copy of your ceremony, and a certificate.

This service is for couples wanting a longer ceremony with a wedding party, family and/or friends in attendance. The touching ceremony can include personalized vows, readings and/or musical interludes. A keepsake copy of the ceremony and a certificate is presented to the couple.

REALLY GOING FOR IT: $500 and up
For this once in a lifetime event, some couples want a fully customized ceremony written especially for them. Creative, and often adventurous, these ceremonies can be crafted for conservative couples who want that personal touch as well as nontraditional couples who want their ceremony to reflect their distinctive style. And everything in between.

Premarital/Commitment Sessions
Much attention is focused on the wedding itself - and truly it is a beautifully significant event for the couple. And, to ensure a satisfying, long-lasting relationship, many couples find it useful to spend some time focusing on the marriage. A few counseling sessions before the ceremony is a valuable asset in identifying strengths and honoring challenges in the relationship.

Couples Counseling
Being in the newly revised relationship after the wedding is a big adjustment for both parties. Sometimes some “tweaking” or “fine tuning” is helpful. At a couples session one man commented to me, “I didn’t think we would be here 6 weeks after the wedding! Is that a bad sign?” I assured him that it was not a bad sign at all. In fact, their willingness to work out the little stumbling blocks prevents the “little” from becoming the “big”.  All is now well with both of them.
